Arthur Bynum was born on 1/9/1947 to Henry and Drusilla Bynum. He lead an excellent childhood, giving his life to Christ at the age of seven.  He served as a Junior Deacon, Children's & Youth choir member at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Wyman, Maddocha until he graduated from the E.B. Hill High School.

He attended and graduated from Wyman Bible College in 1969.  He met his wife, Margaret Nesby while at Wyman Bible College. He moved to Dorinda, Maddocha after he received a job offer in the city from Shimmers Incorporated.  Arthur and his wife were married on September 27, 1969.  Their union was blessed with three children, Arthur (Artie) Bynum, Jr., Margorie (Margie) Bynum-Cage, and Tate Bynum.

Arthur served as a deacon at the Great Hope Baptist Church in Dorinda, Maddocha.

Arthur worked tirelessly at being a Christian, husband, father, family member, friend, and employee before he went home to be with the Lord in 2005.

He leaves his wife (Margaret), three children (Artie, Margie, and Tate), four grandchildren (AJ, Drusilla, Xavier, and Hawthorne), a host of family and friends to mourn him.

Arthur Bynum blessed us with his presence down here, but God needed him in Heaven.
